Monitoring, Controlling and Tracking System Applied for Oil Handling Along Border Zone

New technology used for controlling and tracking oil transport trucks travelling outside the kingdom is now a GPS tracking system capable of indicating trucks’ travel behaviors and locations in every time period. Moreover, electronics device has been used for on-off valve control preventing oil smuggling during travel as well as scale system which has been used for trucks’ weight control before and after travelling outside the kingdom indicating whether oil has been transferred out of the country or not. This results in the integration of several electronics system forms’ effective interaction. As for work system, web application technology has been improved to help with data dissemination to associated departments so they can always be able to access the system via Excise Department’s security system. In addition to this, there is a system being able to specify each driver by linking data from the driver license with magnetic stripe reader issued by Department of Land Transport or linking other types of data regarding what Department of Land Transport has assigned. Other than that, the control system enforcing drivers to reveal their identifications through driver signification system has also effectively been practiced, including data link of oil transport trucks with Department of Land Transport’s control system.
