DTC Develops Data Analytics System for Alcohol, Tobacco, Playing Cards, and Beverage Sales

On May 13, 2025, D.T.C. Enterprise Public Company Limited participated in a meeting to clarify guidelines for reporting retail prices of alcohol and tobacco products. The meeting was held at the Multipurpose Building of the Excise Department, with Acting Lieutenant Prayut Setapairom, Deputy Director-General of the Excise Department, presiding over the opening ceremony.

The meeting aimed to enhance understanding of the operational system and ensure correct and complete compliance with the guidelines. It also focused on efficient data transmission for alcohol and tobacco license holders through the excise product retail price survey system developed by DTC. This system applies technology to improve the efficiency of excise tax collection.

Meeting Details and Participants

The Excise Department has updated its retail price reporting guidelines, initially piloting the program with alcohol and tobacco license holders who are already in the VAT system. The meeting featured presentations from:

  • Mrs. Srinuan Krataiworngprachan, Director of the Office of Standards and Tax Collection Development 1
  • Mr. Arkom Uamsamang, Excise Technical Specialist serving as Director of the Excise Tax Price Standards Supervision and Development Division
  • Other officials from the Excise Department who provided knowledge and understanding about these guidelines
